In the late spring of last year my wife and I decided to sell our home of 32 years in Tarzana. Selling was a difficult decision for us as we had raised our children in the home and leaving it was going to be an emotional event. We wanted to be sure that we chose the right person to work with us on this life changing decision we had made. We chose to interview three Realtors who seemed to be the most active in our area. After interviewing them all we felt that we had chosen very good Realtors to talk with. Each of them offered great experience, good marketing plans and all seemed to have a sensitivity to our concerns.

After discussing it together for some time and taking everything into consideration, we chose Mr. Jack Der Ashodian.

What an excellent choice we made. Jack lived up to all our expectations and then exceeded them. He was the most professional Realtor I have known in the 43 years I have been involved in the mortgage banking industry here in the San Fernando Valley. He prepared marketing material that was exceptional. Whenever there was a decision we needed to make whether deciding on the listing price or when an offer came, Jack came to us with good information and good counseling to help us make the right decision. We never felt that he was trying to persuade us one way or another but rather he tried very hard to inform us with all the facts and information so we could make the best decision for us and for us to be comfortable with the decision.

His marketing efforts drew many people to our home early on in the listing period. We had an offer after being on the market for about 45 days. We entered escrow about 40 days after that and successfully closed in a little over 30 days at a price reasonably close to what our asking price was. This occurred during what could only be described as a difficult time in the real estate market.
